Certain ingredients have an Effect Type that, when added to a meal, will provide an additional buff when consumed. There are many variations that can be made to Monster Cake. If you combine two different effects such as Chilly and Hearty, they will cancel out and the resulting meal will have no effect other than heart generation. Make sure to only combine one type of Special Effect ingredient. Players can create Monster Cake by combining the items in the table below at a Cooking Pot or Protable Zonai Device. Monster Cake can be created by selecting the items in the inventory to carry in Links hands and placing them in a Cooking Pot or by using the new Zonai Device, the Portable Pot. It is a returning Cooked item from BotW and largely functions in the same manner.
